An International Get Together for the Veterinary Biotechnology Industry
InnoVet is one of the most important conferences of the animal health sciences and technology industry in Canada.
It simultaneously brings together industry leaders, investors and researchers from around the world, this event has become indispensable for people wishing to exchange ideas and share knowledge about the major challenges and issues that are vital to the world's veterinary community.
InnoVet is also an ideal place for meeting key industry stakeholders, for laying the foundation and developing partnerships and strategic alliances. Indeed, the event devotes an important part of its program to business networking, as well as industry tours.
This fifth edition of the international veterinary business conference "Innovet 2010" is an information superhighway giving you the latest discoveries and advancements in the research and development fields in this industry. This year, the program will focus on the news solutions of the industry to protect the animal health at the farm and to assure the food safety from preharvest to consummer.
InnoVet is an initiative organized by the City of Agri-food, Veterinary and Agro-environmental Biotechnology of Saint-Hyacinthe and in collaboration with CQVB (Centre québécoise de valorisation des biotechnologies). Located on the outskirts of Montreal (Quebec, Canada), this science pole hosts more than 150 institutions involved in research, teaching, technology transfer and industrial firms specializing in the agri-food sector. Amongst them, let us note the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the Université de Montréal, the only francophone veterinary medicine teaching unit in North America, that has distinguished itself all around the world, notably for its research in the areas of animal reproduction and infectious diseases.
